For the last three weeks we have searched for the right person to quote for some building work for our new studio.
Selecting people for the job has taken a bit of time. We eventually chose a small family firm who are local. From the minute they saw what was needed they did all their thinking as if joined using a ‘Vulcan mind meld’. They listened, discussed, solved and outlined the best solution. They also made sure that it was what WE wanted all in about ten minutes. Meeting over.
An email arrived the very same day with a schedule to get everything done.
Not the cheapest price we had been quoted but, in all of our experience in decision making, it felt right, it felt good.

Trust and gauging goodness in people cannot be an electronic decision. It’s always nice to meet with people. Shake hands. It’s a good thing, a trust thing.
Our new studio space is well underway and on schedule. So here’s to meeting new people and finding more good things.
